Our Story
In 2021, several NC State Asian American students wanted to create an Asian American organization critically analyzes Asian American identity and culture. Seeing the need for this, these students established CRANE Collective. CRANE Collective is an Asian American umbrella collective that supports and educates the Asian community within NC State University and the local Triangle area. CRANE Collective is an acronym for CRitical Asian Narratives and Engagement Collective.

Our Mission
The CRANE Collective is the forefront of the Asian community at NC State University. We are committed to promoting crucial Asian narratives by means of education, action, and engagement by uplifting the on-campus and local communities.
CRANE Collective is working with support from NC State's Multicultural Student Affairs and North Carolina Asian Americans Together (NCAAT) to accomplish our mission. Our goals are the following:
Provide resources that support the collegiate Asian American community
Promote a learning ground through educational workshops
Establish a community for students to express themselves
